Job summary

Spektrum supports allied clients including NATO ACT and related defence bodies in capabilities development, planning, and transformation initiatives. The role focuses on integrating warfare development priorities, coordinating across NATO exercise Enterprise, and documenting campaign plans for future warfighting capabilities.

The position requires 5+ years in military exercise planning, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Defence/Strategic Studies, Political Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in military exercise planning, collective training, or defence transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with NATO exercise planning processes and documents (e.g., NATO Warfighting Capstone Concept, Warfare Development Agenda).
• Proven ability to draft professional planning documents, reports, and campaign plans; proficiency with MS Office and collaborative platforms.
• Strong organisational and project management skills; excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of Warfare Development priorities into NATO’s exercise enterprise.
• Provide governance, synchronization, and strategic alignment across NATO’s exercise enterprise.
• Participate in planning conferences, workshops, and coordination events.
• Assist in developing, refining, and documenting exercise-related campaign plans and supporting products.
• Coordinate with NATO entities and partners; track contributions to guidance and policy documents.
