Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s degree preferred in Health Education, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Human Services or related field.
• Minimum two years experience in mental health, substance use prevention, or related community services.
• Minimum one year of public speaking or outreach presentations.
• Experience with Native American communities or other culturally diverse populations preferred.
• CPR (BLS Provider) certification required.
• Valid California driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Researching, developing, marketing, and conducting skill-based educational classes related to mental health, substance use prevention, domestic violence prevention and overall wellness.
• Coordinate and support prevention programs, community activities, and cultural workshops.
• Attend grant-required trainings and ensure all program documentation meets grant guidelines.
• Provide assistance for special events and other CRP services.
• Develop wellness classes addressing the needs of Native American and underserved populations.
