Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Traveling Construction Scheduler to join our Owner’s Representation team supporting rapid design-build data center delivery across the United States. You will travel from project to project, serving as the owner’s scheduling representative for construction activities, with assignments typically lasting 6–12 months.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project scheduling experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6.
• Background supporting projects for a general contractor, owner’s representative, or AEC/construction management firm.
• Data center or mission-critical construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with fast-paced design-build construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all aspects of construction project scheduling from the owner’s perspective.
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed Primavera P6 schedules for rapid design-build data center projects.
• Monitor construction progress, critical path activities, milestones, sequencing, and schedule risks.
• Review contractor schedules and validate progress against project goals and contractual milestones.
• Coordinate with the owner, general contractors, design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Analyze schedule impacts, delays, changes, and recovery plans.
• Prepare schedule updates, reports, forecasts, and presentations for project leadership.
• Travel from project site to project site as part of the client’s national data center delivery team.
