Job summary

CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Solar Commissioning Technician to support utility-scale solar projects nationwide. This remote-friendly role requires 3 weeks on-site with 4 days off, and nationwide travel.

Location preferences Arkansas, Missouri, or Kentucky; base salary $70,000–$75,000 plus benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, 401(k), PTO and development opportunities. Ideal for technically skilled professionals with solar commissioning, electrical troubleshooting, or control

Qualifications

2+ years in utility-scale solar commissioning or related technical environments.
Ability to read electrical diagrams and project drawings.
Strong communication and independent work skills.
Proficient with MS Office and field reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform onsite inspections of commissioning installations and verify against manuals.
Execute solar tracker commissioning, startup, configuration, and testing.
Diagnose and resolve issues with tracker controllers, power supplies, sensors, and communication.
Provide customer and field team support, escalating to Engineering when needed.
Document activities, test results, and actions daily.
Coordinate with project teams to meet milestones and maintain safety.
Support successful project turnover and performance verification.
