Job summary

Expedition Communications, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician (Starlink) to install satellite internet networks across nationwide locations, travel up to 75% to customer sites, and configure wireless access points, routers, switches and related hardware.

You will diagnose and troubleshoot VSAT/Satellite Broadband systems, coordinate with dispatch, perform post-migration tests, and complete documentation for project sign-off; an associate degree or 2 years' networking experience is

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronic/engineering/Telecom or data networks, or 2 years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of networking or telecommunications field experience with troubleshooting.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and ladders; strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and deploy VSAT/Satellite Broadband systems in the field.
• Replace WIFI access points and network cabling as needed.
• Coordinate with dispatch for access and migration scheduling.
• Locate and inventory existing network infrastructure for upgrades.
• Document progress and obtain approvals from site management.
