Job summary

Lloyd Industries, Inc. is seeking a Nationwide Field Service Technician to calibrate, inspect, test, and repair biomedical testing equipment across multiple states. The role involves travel of up to a month at a time, with lodging and meals covered by the company.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with electronics, metrology, and MTE calibration, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Base lab work occurs in St. Charles, MO when not on assignment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from college or technical school in Metrology, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Technician (BMET), Instrumentation Technology.
• Military (DoD) transferable training in PMEL, TMDE, PME, Calibration, Metrology.
• Experience in Electrical, Temperature, Pressure, and Flow calibrations preferred.
• Proven work experience in calibration of measuring and testing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide travel to customer locations, up to 1 month at a time, including overnights and weekends.
• Perform routine and complex work related to the calibration and repair of biomedical and general-purpose measuring and test equipment (M&TE).
• Effectively use software, and automation systems as required in performance of assigned duties.
• Perform work in accordance with established processes and procedures.
• Ensure daily work is conducted in accordance with company policies concerning quality, ethics, integrity, and standards of business conduct.
• Report to company onsite calibration lab, in St. Charles, MO, when not dispatched to customer locations.
• Promote the safety of self, fellow employees, customers, and the environment.

Come join our team as a Nationwide Field Service Technician! With over 40 years of expertise, BC Group International, now operating as Lloyd Industries, Inc., is the premier provider of biomedical testing equipment and calibration services. We are looking for an individual with experience in applying metrology principles to calibrate, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain biomedical testing equipment. An ideal candidate loves to travel, as this role will allow the opportunity to travel across several states to reach our many work sites across the country. We need a dedicated team member to ensure the accuracy and compliance of our calibration processes and records, which plays a pivotal role in our long-standing legacy in the biomedical world.

Responsibilities

• Nationwide travel to customer locations, up to 1 month at a time, including overnights and weekends.
• Perform routine and complex work related to the calibration and repair of biomedical and general-purpose measuring and test equipment (M&TE), in the fields of electrical, electronic, DC-Low Frequency, RF, pressure, temperature, flow, force, mass and other Metrology disciplines.
• Effectively use software, and automation systems as required in performance of assigned duties.
• Perform work in accordance with established processes and procedures.
• Ensure daily work is conducted in accordance with company policies concerning quality, ethics, integrity, and standards of business conduct.
• Report to company onsite calibration lab, in St. Charles, MO, when not dispatched to customer locations.
• Promote the safety of self, fellow employees, customers, and the environment.

Success Factors

• Experience with electronics, repair and/or calibration of general-purpose Measuring and Test Equipment (M&TE)
• Ability to function independently and in various customer environments.
• Must meet the requirements to drive a company vehicle
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Clean MVR
• Must be able to drive extended distances in all types of weather and terrain.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted.

Education & Experience Requirements
