CyberCoders is seeking an Instrument Field Service Technician to support calibration, maintenance, and technical services across the Baltimore-Washington, DC metro area. You will travel to client sites in MD, VA, PA, DE, and NJ, performing calibration tasks on critical lab and utility systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of calibration/instrumentation/metrology experience.
• Hands-on calibration of industrial instrumentation and process equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; able to work independently in client facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and service work following company and client procedures.
• Maintain calibration standards and keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Create, update, and execute calibration procedures.
• Develop and manage monthly calibration schedules.
• Coordinate planned maintenance and calibration activities with equipment owners.
• Complete calibration documentation, certificates, and compliance records.
• Provide technical support for instrumentation and calibration processes.
• Assist with equipment and facility qualification activities.
• Recommend instrumentation upgrades and best practices.
• Support a range of systems including autoclaves, incubators, refrigerators, bioreactors, AHUs, BMS/BAS, CIP/SIP, and RO/DI systems.

This position primarily supports clients throughout the Baltimore-Washington DC Metro Area, with occasional travel throughout Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey.

What You'll Do

• Perform calibration and service work in accordance with company and client procedures
• Maintain calibration standards and ensure equipment remains in optimal working condition
• Create, update, and execute calibration procedures
• Develop and manage monthly calibration schedules
• Coordinate planned maintenance and calibration activities with equipment owners
• Complete calibration documentation, certificates, and compliance records
• Provide technical support for instrumentation and calibration processes
• Assist with equipment and facility qualification activities
• Recommend instrumentation and controls upgrades and best practices
• Support a variety of critical systems including:

  • Incubators
  • Refrigerators & Freezers

  • RODI & WFI Systems

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Calibration Technician, Instrument Technician, Metrology Technician, or related technical field role
• Hands-on experience calibrating industrial instrumentation and process equipment
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in client facilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree, trade school certification, or technical training
• Experience supporting biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or GMP-regulated environments
• Knowledge of instrumentation used in manufacturing, laboratory, and utility systems
• Experience with calibration scheduling and documentation systems

Compensation

• $50.00 per hour
