Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay, Based on Experience

Employment Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt

Travel: Occasional Domestic Travel; Limited International Travel Possible

Are you a detail-oriented technician with experience in calibration, metrology, electronics, or precision measurement? We are seeking a Calibration Technician to calibrate inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE) while ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance across a variety of measurement disciplines.

What You'll Do

• Calibrate measurement and test equipment across disciplines such as:
• Dimensional
• Electrical/DC & Low Frequency
• Mechanical
• Thermodynamics
• Optical
• Acoustical
• Chemical
• Time & Frequency
• Maintain secondary and working calibration standards
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform basic repairs on precision equipment
• Collect, analyze, and document calibration data
• Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective actions
• Identify and correct measurement errors
• Prepare calibration reports and certificates
• Adapt calibration techniques for non-standard measurement tasks
• Train junior technicians on calibration concepts and procedures
• Communicate with technicians, customer service teams, account managers, and customers
• Maintain laboratory standards and housekeeping

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of calibration experience (formal metrology training may substitute)
• Strong math and algebra skills
• Basic troubleshooting skills with precision equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures

• Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to occasionally stand and bend
