Our Client in Juneau, AK seeks a Nationally Certified Clinical Assistant – Urgent Care for a permanent, full-time role. You will support patient flow, perform clinical tasks, and provide essential data management and patient care in a rural ambulatory setting.

Must have urgent care experience, a high school diploma or GED, and current BLS. The role involves varied duties from rooming patients to POCT and basic procedures, with competitive annual pay of $60,000–$83,000.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Clinical Competency completed within 3 months of hire and every 3 years - required.
• One of the following conditions must be met: Completion of the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant program OR One year experience as a CA 1 with Our Client, with successful completion of Competency Assessment OR One year experience as a CNA, EMT, or CHA.
• Alaska Community Health Aide level 1 completed.

Aufgaben

• Performs duties of Clinical Assistant 1 with more experience or education.
• Obtains and records age-appropriate vital signs.
• Documents information in patient chart and maintains records.
• Assists with procedures, minor office surgeries, and specimen collection.
• Maintains clean, organized exam rooms and equipment.
