Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Water Resources Practice Leader to guide the national practice across all U.S. locations. The role drives strategy, technical excellence, and growth, partnering with leadership to expand capabilities and market presence.

You will lead diverse teams, shape the national vision for water resources services, and build lasting client relationships while mentoring engineers across offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 10+ years of experience in water resources.
• 2+ years of leadership experience leading teams, initiatives, or practice areas.
• Proven ability to communicate with clients and stakeholders and to develop, win, and retain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead the national Water Resources Practice strategy, direction, and growth.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities, and market presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across water resources projects.
• Identify trends, regulations, and innovations and translate into strategy.
• Support major pursuits and build strong client relationships.
• Mentor and develop engineers and staff across offices.
