Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Water Resources Practice Leader to guide the national practice across all U.S. locations. You will shape strategy, elevate technical excellence, and drive growth while collaborating with leadership in operations, client development and strategy.

Ideal candidates are recognized leaders in flood/drought risk, urban stormwater, or erosion restoration, with a strong track record of client relationships and multi-state project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years of experience in water resources.
• 2+ years of leadership experience leading teams or initiatives.
• Proven track record of technical excellence and client relationships.
• Ability to travel periodically for conferences, pursuits, and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the national Water Resources Practice strategy, technical direction, and growth.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities, and market presence.
• Lead technical direction and elevate quality across water resources projects.
• Identify emerging water resources trends, regulations, and innovations.
• Support major pursuits and build strong client relationships.
• Mentor and develop engineers and staff across offices.
