Job summary

AE2S seeks a Drinking Water Conveyance Practice Leader to direct a nationwide practice spanning multiple states. You will define strategy, drive technical excellence, and foster growth across offices.

The role requires leading projects, mentoring staff, and shaping client relationships while traveling to conferences and pursuits across the country. A PE license and 10+ years in water infrastructure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 10+ years in water infrastructure, with conveyance system expertise.
• 2+ years of leadership experience (team/project/practice).
• Strong client relationships and business development experience.
• Ability to travel periodically for conferences, pursuits, client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the national vision for drinking water conveyance and distribution systems.
• Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities and marketing presence.
• Lead technical direction and raise quality across projects.
• Anticipate and operationalize emerging trends in water infrastructure design.
• Represent AE2S as a voice in the industry through advisory roles and events.
• Support major pursuits and provide technical leadership in BD.
• Mentor engineers and technical staff across offices.
