SUMMARY


The position exists to retain and nurture our existing National sales accounts as well as to identify new accounts to sell Ryder used vehicles to a broader underdeveloped national customer base.The National UVS Manager is responsible for increased revenue and profitable growth by selling at current retail market values. This position is also responsible for sales quota attainment for a monthly/annual vehicle unit count as well as quota attainment of our additional ancillary product offerings.He/she will be working with and building strong collaboration with existing sales teams to provide our customers with the best customer experience and value as the leading used truck provider in the industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Independently identify, prospect and develop new Used Vehicle Sales (UVS) National Account opportunities
Develop a target account data base through independent research and with the assistance of the marketing team, in order to achieve sales quota
Maintain consistent and ongoing relationships with national account customers providing upcoming new technology updates and information, up sell ancillary value add products (i.e. Prepaid Maintenance options, Finance and Extended Warranty options)
Contribute and support the UVS team to increase sales with existing National Account customers
Research and understand the competitive influences and risks within each account to developed strategies to proactively address these
Provide accurate market feedback to management


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree Business, Marketing or equivalent experience.


EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years or more experience demonstrated Sales Excellence (quote achievement) in prior sales responsibilities


SKILLS
Demonstrates problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Information :

Thecompensationofferedtoa candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc.The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/ortype.Compensationranges for the position are below:
