Zen Psychiatry is an online education company that empowers psychiatrists, psych NPs, and other mental health professionals to practice integrative psychiatry and build private practices. We believe the medical industrial complex overburdens psychiatrists and doesn’t serve patients, prioritizing medications over the complexities of treating mental illness.
Our mission is to help psychiatric professionals escape burnout and create fulfilling, autonomous practices that leverage their strengths, bring financial abundance, and transform patient care. We teach both the business strategies and clinical skills to be successful.
Your Role:
A combined coaching and sales role? Sounds weird, we know. We know most coaches start to tune out the moment they hear there’s a sales component to the job.
But for us, sales and coaching are deeply connected. The biggest obstacles keeping our clients from their dream careers aren’t logistical—they’re internal. The skills that help us enroll new members into our program are the same as those that help them overcome the mindset blocks standing in the way of the practice they’ve always dreamed of having.
Plus, what makes the best experience for the client? When the same person nurtures them, enrolls them, and then coaches them once they’ve enrolled. Isn’t it annoying when one person builds a relationship and sells you something, and then passes you on to a totally different team for service delivery? All that rapport and trust are wasted. We prioritize our client’s experience first and foremost.
So, as an Account Manager & Business Coach, you will help manage relationships with members (clients) of Dream Practice Academy, ensuring they receive the strategic business coaching, marketing guidance, and mindset support needed to build thriving private practices. Through 1:1 coaching, group working sessions and written/video feedback, you will support members refine their unique value proposition, develop marketing strategies, optimize their online presence, and overcome mindset challenges.
In addition to coaching, this role includes a relationship-based sales component. You will dedicate a part of your day to connecting with prospective clients via direct outreach and Zoom consults, guiding them through our values-aligned sales process. Because our approach to sales is deeply human and trust-based , you’ll ideally be the same person nurturing a lead, closing the sale, and then continuing on as their coach. You’ll also identify upsell opportunities with existing members and help generate referrals.
Like we said, this hybrid coaching/sales position is a core part of our business model. You’ll play a direct role in transforming our clients’ lives while ensuring a consistent, high-trust experience from first contact to long-term success. Every team member contributes to revenue (and is compensated accordingly) so we can continue to grow sustainably and pay well.
As a small, fast-growing company (5 team members total), we operate in an environment where a high level of autonomy is provided and a high level of responsibility is expected. The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and passionate about helping others succeed—while also being motivated by a results-oriented culture.

We have a tiered compensation plan where your compensation steps us as you proceed through our training process.
Range : $65,000-84,000/year depending on stage of experience and past experience PLUS COMMISSIONS on sales once you have completed training.
