Koch Specialty Plant Services, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Business Development Manager for Turnaround Strategy and Origination. The role supports a national footprint with opportunities across refinery, petrochemical, and chemical markets, based from Houston, TX or other KSPS facilities.

You will originate and shape new business, build a robust pipeline, and engage decision-makers long before RFQs surface, translating capabilities into market-winning value propositions.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, strategic sales, or commercial origination within industrial services.
• Proven ability to build pipeline and win new business not previously in play.
• Comfort operating in long, ambiguous sales cycles with travel readiness.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative solutions and value propositions aligning customer needs with KSPS advantages.
• Lead sales strategy development across markets, customers, and service lines.
• Identify and pursue new market whitespace before formal demand exists, building pipeline.
• Shape demand early in the planning cycle by engaging pre-RFQ stages.
• Build relationships with decision-makers across refining, petrochemical, and chemicals markets.
• Gather market insights to shape commercial strategy and differentiated offerings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate market intelligence into action.
• Travel up to 50% nationally to cover territories.
