Job summary

Wachter is seeking a licensed electrician to lead field crews as Electrical Project Foreman in a full-time, nationwide travel role. You will supervise small crews (2–8), install and troubleshoot diverse electrical systems, and ensure quality workmanship across commercial and industrial environments.

The position emphasizes safety, project execution, and strong communication with Project Managers and clients.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Electrician with proven Lead/Foreman experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Proficient with testing instruments (voltmeters, ammeters, megger) and operation of large tools.
• Strong NFPA 70E knowledge and ARC flash PPE.
• Certified to operate boom and scissor lifts; able to work at heights.
• Must have basic hand tools, PPE, and reliable vehicle; pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead small crews of 2–8 electricians with daily instruction and training.
• Install, layout, troubleshoot electrical systems, switchgear, conduits, cable trays, heat tracing, freeze protection.
• Conduct functional tests and diagnose issues; perform updates/repairs on legacy systems.
• Assist pre-installation planning by designing technical solutions; read blueprints and drawings.
• Set up conductors, grounding, and lighting circuits (120V–480V).
• Provide updates to Project Managers and customers; enforce safety and codes.
