Qualifications

• Proven experience working within commercial building environments.
• Proficiency with standard hand tools, power drills, and testing meters.
• Ability to accurately interpret technical blueprints and floor plans.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial access control hardware.
• Install and service CCTV and intrusion alarm systems to help ensure site security.
• Mount and connect card readers, door hardware, and control panels.
• Route, terminate, and test low-voltage and composite cabling.
• Perform conduit installation and pathway preparation as needed.
• Drill into concrete and structural walls for mounting equipment.
• Interpret blueprints and site layouts to guide installation work.
• Complete system wiring, device setup, and final testing.
• Identify and resolve wiring, communication, or component-level malfunctions.
• Verify system functionality prior to project sign-off.
• Collaborate with project leads, site managers, and other trades.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide progress updates.
• Deliver on-site technical guidance to overcome installation hurdles.
• Uphold safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
