Job summary

Evergreen Fire and Security is seeking a Traveling Electronic Security Systems Technician. This role is ideal for an experienced low-voltage technician who enjoys frequent travel and delivering top-quality on-site service.

You will install, service, and train customers on security projects while ensuring compliance with regulations. Willingness to travel extensively and obtain any required certifications is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to travel extensively and maintain safety protocols.
• CPR/First Aid certification or card required.
• Valid electrician certificate or trainee card preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Electrical wiring experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication with customers and teams.
• Ability to schedule appointments and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs, tests, and maintains security projects.
• Interfaces with customers on site and provides training.
• Ensures safety by adhering to state and federal regulations.
• Handles service orders and project administration.
• Performs follow-up to ensure readiness for inspections.
