Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a National Training Manager for the Patient Services Access Team to design, deliver, and measure compliant training solutions that improve performance and learning outcomes. The role collaborates with Learning and Development Leadership, Therapeutic Business Unit Leadership, Franchise Marketing, and AbbVie Patient Services Leadership across a national scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Understanding of adult learning principles.
• Proven experience developing and using core learning and teaching platforms (PowerPoint, Articulate Rise, iSpring).
• Three+ years of pharmaceutical field experience as an Account Executive or Field Reimbursement Manager or comparable training experience.
• Experience leading projects with regional or national impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver compliant learning solutions that increase participant effectiveness and credibility.
• Build trust and credibility with key stakeholders through regular interaction and strong partnerships.
• Leverage existing Learning and Development platforms and Franchise training content to reduce duplication of efforts.
• Communicate directly with key stakeholders to foster positive relationships and mutual alignment.
• Provide candid feedback to training participants, including strengths, development opportunities, and plans for improvement.
• Assess participant skill levels and adjust coaching to learning needs.
• Develop Guest Trainers and Regional Field Trainers for foundational and ongoing training.
• Apply knowledge of stakeholder businesses to integrate training into franchise plans.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and support special projects within training.
• Assist with onboarding, development, and mentorship of other NTMs while fostering teamwork.
• Execute responsibilities with limited guidance from senior leadership.
