Job summary

Qualifications

• Masters’ degree in related field and 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting individuals who experience a mental health condition and an intellectual/developmental disability (MH-IDD).
• Experience working with state/local agencies to develop contracts for implementation and training.
• Experience evaluating programs serving people with IDD.
• Experience applying adult learning principles and delivering professional development.
• Experience negotiating contracts with state and provider agencies.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a key member of the NCSS leadership team and contribute to strategic planning, growth and sustainability.
• Lead operational assessment and improvement of policies, practices, and services aligned with the strategic plan.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration across clinical, research, operations, quality, communications, and training teams.
• Provide executive leadership during organizational events and emergencies and support communications during changes.
• Supervise NCSS leadership staff with coaching and development.
• Ensure compliance with UNH/USNH policies and contractual requirements.
• Represent the Executive Director in their absence and oversee NCSS operations.
• Align priorities and initiatives with the START Model and organizational goals.
• Oversee quality assurance, governance, and continuous improvement to promote accountability.
