Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a National Sourcing professional to support all US locations, secure and lead national procurement events for raw materials and consumed goods, and generate cost savings through material and process analysis.

You will manage RFI, RFP and RFQ activities, negotiate national contracts with suppliers, monitor pricing and indices, and collaborate with all US plants to ensure optimal total cost. Proficiency in SAP/ERP and advanced Excel is required.

Qualifications

• Strategic procurement and supplier negotiation experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong project management and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills for cost analysis and indices tracking.

Responsibilities

• Project Analysis – gather, organize, analyze and verify sourcing details.
• Analyze cost scenarios, savings and impact; identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Lead RFI, RFP and RFQ events; develop and manage national contracts.
• Negotiate national pricing with suppliers and monitor indices.
• Develop and implement sourcing and category management strategies.
• Collaborate with US plants to ensure lowest total cost.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, purchasing processes and material master controls.
• Communicate material master usage guidelines to plants.
