Job summary

Huntington is seeking an Associate - National Settlements Portfolio Manager to support the NST Portfolio Management Team Lead, Regional Credit Officer and Relationship Managers in underwriting, portfolio management and monitoring of commercial loans.

You will assist with portfolio reporting, exposure tracking, trend analysis, and reviews of settlement activity, concentration risk and portfolio quality metrics; manage a portfolio with relationship managers and optimize client relationships for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related business field or equivalent year's work experience.
• 1+ years of relevant commercial/middle market credit analysis or underwriting experience.
• Understanding and utilization of credit skills for credit decision making, monitoring, and managing of a credit through repayment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with portfolio reporting, exposure tracking, trend analysis, and management information reporting.
• Support reviews of settlement activity, account performance, concentration risk, and portfolio quality metrics.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial loans in partnership with the assigned relationship manager and other stakeholders.
• Underwrite credits and monitor risk ratings; contribute to portfolio reviews and credit actions.
