Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. in Morgantown, WV is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to oversee assigned portfolios and support the NST Portfolio Management Team Lead, Regional Credit Officer, and Relationship Managers in underwriting, portfolio management, compliance and monitoring of loans and customer relationships.

You will partner with RMs to optimize credit quality, monitor risk, and grow fees and portfolio revenue while ensuring compliance with lending laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year(s) of commercial/middle market credit analysis or underwriting experience.
• MBA in Finance or Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with portfolio reporting, exposure tracking, trend analysis, and MIS reporting.
• Support reviews of settlement activity, performance, concentration risk, and portfolio quality.
• Participate in portfolio reviews and credit projects to enhance risk monitoring.
• Collect and analyze financial/operational information for portfolio decisions.
• Manage a portfolio of commercial loans in partnership with RM and officers.
• Grow profitable relationships; evaluate and mitigate business risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to grow fees, deposits, and revenue.
• Own credit quality monitoring and risk rating for the portfolio.
