Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large or complex construction projects nationwide. The role sits on-site at various locations with travel as needed, and relocation is encouraged.

You will lead the project team, develop safety plans, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate subcontractors. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of experience in relevant sectors and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 8-12 years of experience.
• Healthcare, Life Science, and Education project experience preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops the project safety plan with corporate safety and provides jobsite leadership.
• Manages project financial forecast, notice provisions, and billings to meet contract requirements.
• Creates CPM schedule for large/complex projects and leads mitigation plans.
• Leads subcontracting strategy and risk mitigation.
• Mentor and develop team members and foster inclusive culture.
