Alvarez & Marsal is a global consulting firm hiring for a role focused on national-security-focused risk analysis and regulatory compliance leadership. You will lead projects addressing trade controls, technology security, and foreign investment reviews, interfacing with clients and coordinating with leadership to deliver high-quality reports and strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Prior compliance or national security program leadership experience.
Proven expertise in international trade compliance and investigations.
Excellent research and writing capabilities; able to produce polished work.

Responsibilities

Lead projects independently or with a team on trade and technology controls compliance.
Assess clients’ compliance posture across U.S. and international regimes.
Audit and enhance international trade, technology security, and investment controls risk.
Develop engagement plans with leadership and experienced staff.
Interface with clients to deliver high-quality reports and recommendations.
Build SME expertise in national security and foreign investment reviews.
Contribute to collateral, thought leadership, and market-facing materials.
Lead internal firm initiatives and knowledge sharing.
