Job summary

Infleqtion, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced business development executive to drive strategic growth across the National Security sector from Washington, DC. The role focuses on large, multi-year DoW programs and partnerships within the U.S.

defense and intelligence ecosystem. You will build a robust pipeline, engage government stakeholders, and collaborate with capture, contracts, and execution teams to advance Infleqtion’s quantum sensing technologies for warfighters and national security

Qualifications

• BS in Physics, Engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree beneficial.
• 10+ years in the defense sector with relevant backgrounds (electronic warfare, PNT, air defense, space security, time and frequency, ISR).
• Experience with Defense Primes or government research agencies (e.g. DARPA, ARL, NRL, AFRL, ONR).
• Significant experience selling complex early-stage technologies to US Government into enterprise-scale, multi-year defense programs.
• Robust network inside key DoW offices (PEOs, PMs, S&T, combatant commands, service labs, FFRDCs).
• Active DoW or IC security clearance required.
• Experience with quantum technologies or advanced sensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage and expand Infleqtion's government-sector accounts.
• Leverage DoW/IC funding priorities to identify high-value opportunities.
• Engage with government stakeholders to understand mission needs and acquisition pathways.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through disciplined account planning and qualification.
• Collaborate with capture, execution, marketing, government affairs, and contracts to drive opportunities to closure.
• Build trusted relationships across DoW orgs, labs, and senior leadership.
• Leverage existing contacts and form new ones with Defense Prime partners on capture and integration strategies.
• Represent Infleqtion at industry days, solicitations, demos, and related forums.
• Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
