Job summary

Anthropic is hiring a National Security Partnerships Lead to grow and manage relationships with the U.S. Intelligence Community and allied services. You will advise leadership on intelligence matters and own government partnerships from agenda setting to agreements, coordinating with policy, product, and safeguards teams.

You will help shape policies to enable safe, high-impact deployments of frontier AI and engage officials on international deployment frameworks. Travel within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in national security, including work in or with the Intelligence Community.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, or recently held, with ability to obtain/maintain.
• Experience negotiating formal government or government-industry partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with U.S. Intelligence Community elements and allied services.
• Help develop policies enabling rapid, high-impact adoption of frontier AI.
• Structure agreements and channels for each government relationship, relay partner requirements to policy/product teams.
• Brief senior policymakers and officials on frontier AI capabilities, risks, and Anthropic's approach to safety.
• Collaborate with public sector sales, legal, security, and other teams on national security matters.
