Job summary

Attain Talent seeks a Director, National Security to lead business development and capture efforts across the federal National Security market, with a primary focus on DHS and TSA. You will drive opportunity development, client engagement, capture strategy, and proposal execution in collaboration with senior leadership.

The role requires at least 8 years of federal sales/BD experience, strong communication, strategic thinking, and ability to manage cross-functional teams and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Federal government-related capture experience required.
• 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or similar roles, with DHS/TSA focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage with executives.
• Strategic thinking with ability to develop and implement growth strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and delegate effectively.
• Experience with proposals and deal sheets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales lifecycle for opportunities in the National Security market, focusing on DHS and TSA.
• Lead development and execution of BD and capture strategies including market analysis and pipeline development.
• Collaborate with CSO and NS leadership to build a 3–5 year opportunity pipeline.
• Assemble and manage cross-functional teams with budgets and timelines for capture efforts.
• Develop win themes and value propositions to strengthen competitive positioning.
• Oversee proposal development and ensure win strategies are reflected in materials.
