Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a 1099 Contract Investigator to conduct federal background investigations in support of national security and suitability matters. You will perform field interviews, retrieve records, and produce reports of investigations in compliance with federal standards and agency regulations.

Travel across the geographic area is required, with TDY opportunities. You will meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and maintain data integrity and security while reporting trends and updates

Qualifications

• Fieldwork including interviews and retrieval of records to produce ROIs in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Ability to travel throughout geographic area of responsibility; TDY opportunities outside area.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fieldwork, including interviews and retrieval of records to produce ROIs.
• Meet investigative deadlines as assigned.
• Maintain data handling, security, and training compliance; destroy data appropriately.
• Develop professional relationships with ADC employees and contractors.
• Report trends and updates observed in the field.
