Job summary

CACI is seeking an investigator to join our Records Verification team. This role focuses on reviewing records from employers, schools, courts, and other sources to determine the background, character, and suitability of individuals under investigation.

The position is primarily remote, with occasional local travel for follow-up and documentation collection. Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or 4 years of general experience in problem solving, planning and organizing work, and communicating effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable determination based on a T5 Investigation.
• Current driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive record reviews with record providers at various employers, educational institutions, law agencies, courts and other knowledgeable individuals to obtain facts.
• Utilize multiple systems and tools to review records and determine background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications.
• Remote-based review with some local travel for follow-up and to obtain documents as required.
