Description

We are hirng for a National Sales Specialist!

Milestone Retirement is seeking a National Sales Specialist to rescue underperforming communities and restore them to profitability. This is an intensive, high-impact role for a proven leader who can rapidly diagnose complex operational challenges while driving immediate revenue improvements. You'll be deployed to our most challenging communities with authority to implement necessary changes across sales processes, culture, and team performance. This role requires a unique combination of sales expertise, operational acumen, and crisis leadership skills to stabilize struggling properties and return them toexcellence.

This is a remote position requiring 90% + travel based out of Oklahoma City, OK area or Vancouver, WA.

Essential Functions:

Revenue Recovery & Sales Transformation

  • Immediately assess and implement solutions to address underperforming sales processes, systems and culture
  • Personally lead sales efforts during critical occupancy recovery periods
  • Implement proven strategies that rapidly increase inquiry-to-tour and tour-to-close ratios
  • Rebuild damaged community reputations through strategic outreach and relationship repair
  • Establish Milestone sales processes and train local teams for long-term success
  • Set and achieve aggressive occupancy targets within defined turnaround timelines

Leadership & Crisis Management

  • Conduct comprehensive community assessments to identify performance barriers
  • Work with Regional Operations to address staff issues, including coaching, restructuring, or replacement decisions
  • Implement improvements that directly impact marketability and resident satisfaction
  • Assist in resolving compliance, safety, or quality issues that affect community reputation

Team Development & Culture Change

  • Lead by example and provide leadership coaching to community management teams
  • Promotes the company in a positive manner and sets the example for company standards for excellence. Serves as a consensus builder among community Sales and Operations teams.
  • Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with Regional Director of Operations and other home office associates. Educates and supports Operations partners on sales and marketing programs for their respective communities.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of the lead tracking/management system, trouble shooting and training. Monitors community lead and business tracking systems, sales tools and resources to ensure compliance with system usage and follow up statistics.
  • Rebuild team morale and establish performance-driven culture
  • Mentor local staff to maintain improvements after transition
  • Performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field from a four-year college or university is preferred.
  • Five to ten years’ experience in marketing/sales.
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare or hospitality industry and a minimum of two years in a multi-community role with management responsibility preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing to include principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services to include marketing strategy and tactics, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Consultative selling skills highly preferred. Knowledge and understanding of the senior market and various senior living products.
  • Workable knowledge of personal computers including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows. Experience with Customer Relationship Management software.

Certifications, Licenses, and other Special Requirements

Frequent car travel requires the incumbent to possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Ability to work some evenings/weekends and travel 100% of the time by air or car.
