Job summary

Intertape Polymer Group (IPG) is seeking a National Sales Manager ECP to manage existing customer relationships and expand business across assigned U.S. accounts, working remotely.

You will ensure effective territory coverage, coordinate with marketing and product development, submit forecasts, target high‑volume end users, run product trials and attend trade shows while traveling up to 50%. Five+ years of proven sales experience is required.

• Five+ years of sales experience with a proven track record.
• Experience in industrial sectors preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong customer service.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong strategic and sales planning skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed annual revenue and expense budgets and monitor performance.
• Support marketing and product development with customer feedback.
• Recommend and monitor account programs through service, credit, warehousing, scheduling and shipping.
• Submit monthly forecasts and report substantive changes.
• Coordinate field activities with the Director of Sales.
• Prospect high‑volume end users and run product trials.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through events and trade shows.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing existing customers relationships while simultaneously working to expand our business within existing and new accounts in the assigned territory. This position will be a key member of our sales force and will work remotely covering assigned accounts mainly in the U.Ensure effective sales coverage is maintained for the territory and that priorities and objectives for each account are continually monitored and updated.

• Prepare detailed annual revenue and expense budgets and monitor performance versus sales budget.
• Support marketing and product development by providing regular feedback regarding customer requirements, new market opportunities and competitive developments.
• Recommend and monitor account support programs through customer service, credit, warehousing, scheduling and shipping, to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Submit monthly forecasts and immediately advise of substantive changes between submissions.
• Work closely with Director of Sales to coordinate field activities within the territory.
• Prospect and target high volume end users.
• Run product trials and evaluations through sales cycle.
• Monitor sales vs. Develop and maintain relationships with customers by supporting their events and attending related trade shows and other networking activities.
• Travel up to 50%.
• Five plus years of sales experience with a proven track record.
• Candidates with experience in industrial sectors will also be considered.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment coupled with a strong customer service orientation.
