Job summary

The Lemartec Senior Safety Manager or Safety Manager is responsible for promoting and ensuring site safety and has a comprehensive knowledge of the day-to-day safety field operations for their assigned project(s), including planning, coordinating, and enforcing safety regulations and codes while serving as the company’s point of contact for owners, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, and Lemartec’s team for all safety‑related matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of work experience in safety.
• Management experience required.
• CHST certification at minimum; SMP/ASP/CSP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct safety processes and training for ongoing safety awareness and emergency response.
• Maintain OSHA written programs and recordkeeping per regulations.
• Perform daily site safety inspections and manage equipment inspection procedures.
• Establish schedules for Job Hazard Analysis preparation, review, and acceptance.
• Coordinate accident reporting, investigation, and recordkeeping.
• Ensure subcontractor safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Analyze safety data and contribute to root-cause investigations.
• Prepare weekly safety reports and maintain documentation.
