Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement professional to lead QIP initiatives across multiple projects nationwide. You will oversee design reviews, risk mitigation, and coordination with project managers, ensuring compliance and quality from preconstruction through closeout.

You will review geotechnical and envelope aspects, manage testing agencies, and mentor QA staff while traveling extensively to on-site locations.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training a + within 12 months.
• Ability to read and interpret building construction documentation and reports.
• Willingness to travel >70% of time and work on-site on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Initiates QIP on every assigned project.
• Conducts design Quality kick-off meetings and ensures reviews sign-offs at 30% and 100%.
• Reviews geotechnical, concrete and envelope aspects; advises on critical information.
• During construction, selects and evaluates independent testing agencies; develops budgets and monitors activities.
• Performs QC tests and finalizes remaining QA risks with mitigation plans.
• Prepares monthly QIP reports and conducts lessons-learned sessions.
• Travels to project sites and conducts preconstruction and QA inspections.
