Job Summary

Responsible for developing partnerships with global biopharmaceutical manufacturers to enhance competitiveness in the market and establish the Company as the retail and specialty pharmacy of choice.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develops and fosters relationships with global pharmaceutical manufacturers focusing on establishing/expanding alliances in retail and specialty distribution markets. Leads the process for gaining access to LDD (limited distribution drugs) for Specialty Pharmacy with assigned manufacturers.
  • Develops specific acquisition and adherence strategies for retail prescription products in collaboration with internal support teams and manufacturer partners.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing joint strategies on Rx DTC marketing, adherence services, data services, market insights, and distribution/purchasing strategies to boost sales for the Company and pharma partners.
  • Collaborates with manufacturer trade relations and brand teams to identify business opportunities and implement tactics to establish enterprise-wide relationships.
  • Negotiates and contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers for service programs in retail and specialty sectors, ensuring partnerships with Purchasing and Supply Chain are recognized.
  • Acts as the primary contact between the biopharma industry and internal stakeholders, such as Pharmacy Operations, Legal/Contracting, Marketing, Clinical, Specialty, Digital, and other functions.
  • Uses internal/external business intelligence to identify new business opportunities early.
