micro1 is seeking National Park Rangers to support a short-term, remote contractor project evaluating AI responses about national park topics. You will work 15-25 hours per week to review questions, write rubrics, and help ensure accuracy for passes, permits, and safety information.

Ideal candidates have National Park Service experience and a track record of precise, clear writing. This role focuses on real visitor questions, with feedback shared asynchronously to improve the system.

Role Title: National Park Ranger

Role Type: Contractor

Location: Remote

Time Commitment: 15-25 hours/week, short-term project

micro1 is looking for National Park Rangers and visitor services staff to help evaluate and improve AI systems on national park topics. You'll use your visitor experience to check that questions sound like real park visitors and that answers are correct and useful. Accuracy comes first. No AI experience is needed; your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Review sample national park questions and flag any that don't sound like what real visitors ask.
2. Write rubrics that define a correct, complete answer on park passes, entrance fees, permits, and reservations.
3. Cover park regulations, visitor safety, and trip planning questions in your rubrics.
4. Evaluate AI-generated answers against your rubrics, flagging errors, omissions, and outdated guidance.
5. Share clear written feedback with the project team, working asynchronously.

Required Qualifications
