Job summary

Axiom Consultants, Inc. is seeking an experienced Communication Specialist to provide technical and administrative services for creating, managing, and refining educational materials and digital content.

This role supports education and outreach strategies for NOAA Ocean Exploration. Responsibilities include content management, education product development with external partners, brand identity work, translations, education strategy execution, and promotion of NOAA education initiatives to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or equivalent years of education and experience.
• 4-6+ years of experience.
• Strong oral and written communication, problem-solving skills, and being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Content management and gap analysis: establishing and maintaining a storage management system for education content; identify gaps and priorities for new materials.
• Education product development: plan, coordinate, and execute development of education products with external partners.
• Brand identity and graphic design for NOAA Ocean Exploration education products; perform graphic design and technical reviews of external partners' work.
• Translation and evaluation coordination: coordinate translations with regional language experts and oversee external evaluators under COR/TPOC guidance.
• Education strategy implementation to advance NOAA Ocean Exploration plans; analyze educator needs and promote outreach approaches.
