Job summary

HealthTrust is seeking a Contracts Manager to negotiate national agreements within the Nursing portfolio, ensuring best-in-class pricing, contract terms, and value for members. You will manage sourcing initiatives from market analysis through contract implementation, collaborating with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to achieve financial and operational objectives.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably in healthcare,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years of strategic sourcing and negotiating clinical contracts preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities, including market research, RFIs, RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract implementation.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories with guidance from leadership.
• Manage project timelines and multiple priorities to ensure timely completion of contracting initiatives.
• Analyze supplier proposals, market trends, financial models, and contract terms.
• Present sourcing recommendations and award strategies to member advisory boards and executive committees.
• Build and maintain strong supplier and customer relationships.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Contract Operations, Account Management, and other cross-functional teams to deliver successful contracting outcomes.
• Resolve supplier and customer issues and support audit activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and business conduct standards.
