Job summary

HealthTrust, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Senior Manager Contracts to negotiate national agreements within the surgical portfolio, delivering competitive pricing and favorable terms for HealthTrust members.

The role manages a ~$100M-$200M annual spend and leads sourcing initiatives from development through contract implementation, with strong emphasis on risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience negotiating contracts in the nursing or surgical categories, preferred.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing activities including market analysis, RFI/RFP management, supplier negotiations, contract awards, and implementation.
• Develop and execute contracting strategies that maximize value, mitigate risk, and align with member needs.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms, including risk mitigation, performance requirements, and commercial protections.
• Present sourcing strategies and award recommendations to internal stakeholders and member advisory boards.
• Build relationships with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional partners to drive successful outcomes.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting financial, operational, and timeline objectives.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and category dynamics to support sourcing strategies.
