Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks an Installation Technician to support telecommunications and data center deployments across the United States from home-based locations. This hands-on role requires travel to CO, POP, and data centers, performing installation, testing, turn‑up, and troubleshooting with OEM and NOC teams.

The position offers a 6–9 month contract with potential extension or conversion, travel arrangements coordinated by INSPYR Solutions, and weekly reimbursed meals and travel expenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on telecom or network equipment installation.
• Experience in Central Offices (CO), POP sites, and/or Data Centers.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide based on project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of telecom equipment in CO, POP, and Data Center environments.
• Install telecom and MSO network equipment across POP sites, data centers, huts, and repeater locations.
• Perform fiber routing, dressing, termination, and testing per engineering specs.
• Coordinate with OEM teams and carrier NOCs to support activation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve installation and network connectivity issues in real time.
• Support DC power installations and power builds, including RLAs and PDF connections.
• Maintain installation records, testing documentation, and project status reports.
