Job summary

INSPYR Solutions seeks a Central Office Installer, Level IV, to perform advanced installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of telecom equipment nationwide. This is a long-term contract with 100% travel; home-based when near a major airport.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in central office installation, with fiber, DWDM and SONET expertise, plus BICSI certification preferred and ability to mentor junior techs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in central office installation or telecom field.
• Typically 3+ years at level III, plus 2–4 years at levels I–II.
• BICSI certification preferred; manufacturer certs (Cisco, Nokia, etc.) a plus.
• Willing to travel 100% across regions for project durations.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; pass drug test.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance, and testing of telecom equipment in central office environments.
• Coordinate with OEMs and carriers for provisioning and network handoff.
• Read diagrams and work orders; perform fiber routing and testing.
• Mentor junior installers and ensure safety standards.
• Complete daily reports and project documentation.
