Job summary

Guidance Residential in Reston, VA seeks a Manager, National Sales Training and Development to lead onboarding, licensing prep, and ongoing training for our mortgage sales team. You will collaborate with Sales, HR, Operations, IT, and Compliance to build high-performing teams and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role also oversees the Client Success Assistant team, using data to identify training opportunities and drive process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Seven or more years of mortgage or home finance experience.
• Mortgage sales experience as a Loan Officer or Account Executive preferred.
• Experience in training, coaching, leadership development, or sales enablement.
• Previous leadership or people management experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and licensing prep for new Mortgage Account Executives.
• Design and deliver engaging sales, product, systems, compliance, and customer experience training.
• Coach new and existing sales professionals to improve performance and productivity.
• Develop leadership training for Sales Managers and Directors.
• Manage the CSA team and identify quality trends for targeted coaching.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve sales processes and technology.
• Analyze training effectiveness and prepare leadership performance reports.
