Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Manager to lead the National Market Engagement initiative. You will shape both national and local community engagement strategies and guide a team delivering mission-driven programs across our café network.

You will build trusted relationships with local civic, business, and government partners, coordinate with market executives, and drive high-impact community experiences while managing budgeting and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• At least 5 years of experience in People Management.

Responsibilities

• Define the national hyper-local community engagement strategy and annual event calendar.
• Lead the Market Engagement Team to execute in-Café programming and elevate brand through community experiences.
• Own the Market Engagement budget and manage 3rd party vendor partnerships, PO processing and contracts.
• Ensure all projects are documented to mitigate risk and meet compliance and deliverables.
• Develop and nurture trust-based relationships with local civic, business, and government organizations.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

Master’s Degree or MBA

PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification
