Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Licensing Specialist to run and scale a cross-state licensing program for physicians and clinicians. You will partner with the credentialing team to streamline license applications across all states and jurisdictions, building systems and workflows to improve the licensure experience for clinicians.

You will work with internal and external partners, manage timelines, and ensure compliance with evolving state regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences across functions.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive employee information with strict confidentiality.
• Experience with program management spanning planning, execution and delivery.
• 5+ years of healthcare licensing experience with Physician and Nursing boards across all 50 states.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a licensing program for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, overseeing the full lifecycle of state license applications across all U.S. states and jurisdictions.
• Effectively manage dependencies, timelines, and stakeholder communication to deliver results at scale.
• Collaborate with practitioners to prepare and submit new state license applications with meticulous detail.
• Serve as One Medical's go-to resource for licensing questions.
• Drive program management across multiple concurrent licensing initiatives and dependencies.
• Build and leverage strong relationships with state board analysts to act as liaison and advocate for practitioners.
• Research licensure requirements across all states and adapt internal resources to reflect regulations.
• Maintain licensing trackers and data sources to track licensing trends and progress toward goals.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement workflows for a rapidly scaling licensing program.
