Job summary

Circle K seeks a Legal Counsel, Labor & Employment, USA, to support nationwide labor and employment matters. You’ll advise HR on day-to-day issues, draft policies, and collaborate with senior litigators on investigations and compliance.

You will work with colleagues across the Legal team and business units from Tempe to Columbus, ensuring consistent adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws while supporting strategic HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. bar membership in good standing.
• At least 4 years of labor and employment law experience.
• Experience in a large law firm is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of employment law issues to HR and management.
• Draft contracts, policies and onboarding/offboarding documents.
• Collaborate with senior lawyers on high‑level company transactions and compliance initiatives.
• Support investigations, audits, and enforcement of employment policies across the enterprise.
• Assist in administrative audits and coordinate with local and outside counsel as needed.
