Kaplan North America is seeking a Senior Counsel, Employment Law to provide strategic guidance on labor and employment matters across the organization. You will partner with HR, Operations, and leadership to craft compliant, practical solutions in a fast-paced setting.

The role is fully remote with occasional travel (<25%). Ideal candidates have 5+ years advising mid-to-large commercial clients on employment law and strong drafting/negotiation skills for HR-related agreements.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Member of a state Bar with the ability to act as in-house counsel.
• 5+ years advising mid to large size commercial clients on employment and labor law.
• Experience drafting and managing inbound/outbound commercial contracts including enterprise and customer contracts.

Responsabilités

• Advise Kaplan North America on employment and labor law issues.
• Draft and negotiate employment, independent contractor, and HR vendor contracts.
• Counsel HR and Operations on compliance and regulatory matters.
• Support capex and education-related contracts and technology agreements as needed.
• Work with a small legal team in a fully remote setting.
