Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a National Insite QA/QC Manager to ensure health and safety, establish audit protocols, and oversee compliance across projects. The role emphasizes scale, travel, and aligning training with regulatory standards.

This position supports quality assurance, cost control, and risk mitigation while driving margin protection and operational continuity across programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's in chemistry, biology, or Environmental Science preferred.
• 3+ years of hazardous waste experience.
• Ability to develop and deliver training materials on EH&S and hazardous materials management.
• Familiarity with federal/state regulatory requirements for Small and Large Quantity Generators.

Responsibilities

• Establish baseline audit protocols for new waste programs and document compliance parameters for each location.
• Collaborate with Ops Manager, Site Lead, Branch Manager, and other resources to track corrective actions and share lessons learned.
• Perform site evaluations (Site General Assessments) and compliance checks using MS Forms.
• Visit and assess top 5 customers per region.
• Review and update site SharePoint content, including JHAs, SOPs, Ops Manual, and HASP information.
