MidFirst Bank's National Healthcare Lending team seeks a disciplined Business Development Officer to originate healthcare banking relationships nationwide, from startup construction to refinances and syndicated loans.

The role requires strong credit and negotiation skills, open collaboration, and independent management of the transaction lifecycle, including travel to key markets. A Bachelor's degree and a proven track record in commercial credit or healthcare banking are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven, verifiable track record in healthcare lending or banking.
• Strong credit analytical skills to evaluate income, cash flow, and balance sheets.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationally (20% or more).

Responsabilités

• Travel independently to prospects and network at industry conferences.
• Manage a high-volume, multi-stage pipeline of complex healthcare transactions.
• Own the transaction from identification through underwriting, approval, documentation, and closing.
• Evaluate income, cash flow, and balance sheets for credit decisions.
• Lead negotiations to structure deals and address covenants.
• Draft clear opportunity memos, briefs, and borrower communications.
• Read and understand complex loan documents to ensure accurate terms.
• Drive end-to-end loan closing in collaboration with internal teams.
