McGough seeks a Senior Superintendent for the National Healthcare Team to oversee planning, safety, schedule and budget for assigned healthcare projects. This role partners with the Sr. Project Manager to guide field operations from pre-construction through post-construction.

Requires 15+ years in construction, 10+ years in healthcare and strong leadership, communication and mentoring abilities. Travel and client coordination are integral components of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 15+ years of construction-related experience.
• 10 years Healthcare experience including the delivery of complex healthcare projects with emphasis on acute care hospitals.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam (or equivalent software).
• Ability to supervise multiple superintendents and/or assistants on larger scale projects.
• Ability to organize and facilitate superintendent meetings.
• Assist with Human Development by mentoring superintendents, assistants and foremen’s through training programs.
• Demonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvement.
• Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage all Pre-Construction related tasks including building crisis management plan, schedule, site logistics plan, site specific rules and regulations, and safety plan.
• Manage and oversee all McGough field staff, subcontractors and suppliers engaged in assigned projects.
• Develop, manage and implement the project schedule in collaboration with the Project Management team.
• Work with Project Management team throughout project including selecting subcontractors, RFIs, procurement of materials, tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to meet project-specific requirements and implement Quality Control plans.
• Ensure on-site documentation including drawings, logs, inspections are current and up-to-date.
• Oversee project budget including labor, materials and equipment; monitor weekly/monthly cost projections.
• Ensure closeout tasks such as punch lists, commissioning, and owner training are completed.
• Provide leadership for Lean practices and standard work on site.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Build strong relationships with clients, design team and subcontractors.
