Job summary

The District of Columbia Air National Guard invites applications for an Electrical Integrated Systems Mechanic (Title 32) WG-2610-13. This is an excepted service position requiring DCANG membership; active duty or reserve eligibility is required.

The role focuses on inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of software controlled test stations, ECM Pods, and related subsystems within avionics shops.

Responsibilities

• Analyze performance, test, inspect, troubleshoot, identify and isolate malfunctions; disassemble, modify or repair and reassemble test stations or ECM Pods and their peripherals.
• Connect testing equipment to interface test station systems to aircraft systems or Pods to facilitate maintenance/repair of PODs or LRUs in avionics systems such as radar, fire control, instrument, flight control, inertial navigation, malfunction analysis and recording equipment.
